A Doorway to a Better Future

Can you see me from far away?

From the starry sky to the Milky way.

Come closer through this door,

Have you not noticed me before?

I’m round and blue,

I’ll take care of you,

Will you take care of me too?

The season’s I’d give you,

The life I’ll provide,

Will you really love me,

Truly inside?

The mountains and hills,

The rivers and seas,

The animals that live here,

Can you take care of them please?

Come with me this way,

Through a new door,

From faraway shores to the deep ocean floor.

Create less waste

To keep us safe,

Do more recycling,

And have some faith.

Look after each other,

Look after the land,

From mighty Mount Vesuvius,

To the last grain of sand.

Look after my children on land sea and air,

Take care of them always and try to be fair.
